Till then, I had only attended sangeet and mehendi ceremonies in the name of bachelorette parties at weddings in my family. But MICA gave me an opportunity, both in terms of being away from home, and mingling with people of all ages (marriagable, mostly!) as batchmates. When SK’s wedding got fixed, it was an opportunity for all us girls to throw her a ravishing and naughty-as-ever bachelorette! And what fun we had… The whole chandni and champa gang came together and worked hard for the fun, and an awesome party was arranged in less than 2 days. Collecting things for decorations, deciding on food, gifts, theme, and most hilarious of them all, finding our superstar strippers… was it fun, you bet!!!!

The chandni courtyard was turned into – well, THE chandni courtyard! Chandni Raatein was the song of the night, and the girls rocked it to the say the least. And today, I am reminded of the day as I flick through the old pictures, sitting in the office all nostalgic about the two most awesome years of my life!

Cheers to those years, cheers to the time well-spent, cheers to the lessons learnt, cheers to an overhaul in life, cheers to friends, cheers to the non-friends, and most of all, cheers to the fun we had without the slightest care about the outside world!

P.S. – Happy Birthday Sam! 😀 Love you dahlin! and miss you tons…
